| 2012 Equine Services Roadster Cup *NEW RULES CHANGES FOR THE EQUINE ROADSTER CUP* ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We are introducing a new point system this year. All road horses have to be nominated to cup to receive points in designated cup classes. *New point system* Horses will receive: 1 Point for showing(must finish class) 1 Point for winning 1st place 1 Point for every horse you beat Example: If you win a class of six the winner will receive 7 points If you are 2nd in a class of six you will receive 5 points If you are 3rd in a class of six you will receive 4 points If you are 4th in a class of six you will receive 3 points If you are 5th in a class of six you will receive 2 points If you are 6th in a class of six you will receive 1 point Nominated horses may count points from their best 12 classes of the year. Points will be counted from only two classes per show. They may show as many or as few classes as the wish. Does not have to be 12 classes to qualify for final championship class. We are making it mandatory that horses are required to show in final Equine Roadster Cup championship class to receive any money prizes. Double points will be awarded in Final Championship Class. The placings in final championship class will not be announced. They will only be significant to the final points. After fianl tabulations are completed, then the year end point winners will be announced. We will be announcing soon where final championship will be held. $20,000 added prize amount. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The Equine Roadster Cup is a incentive program to help boost the Road Horse division. This program will help contribute to the growth and prosperity of the horse show industry. The intent is to promote a high caliber event and generate a greater prize money for the Road Horse division. We are please to have Walsh Harness again as a sponsor of the Road Cup!
