2012 Rules for the Equine Services Walsh Roadster Cup  
           

Rules for Horse Eligibility:

  • Exhibitors must be 18 years of age.
  • Horses must be registered with the USTA or the CTA in the
    current owners name.
  • A non-refundable fee of $50 per horse to enter point
    incentive program.
  • Payment of eligibility fee will be made in the name of the
    entered horse and will make that horse eligible in any and all
    Equine Services Roadster Cup sponsored classes held that
    year.
  • Eligibility will remain with nominated horse throughout the
    year should transfer of ownership occurs.
  • Road Horse may join anytime to point incentive program and
    points will start when they are nominated.
  • If there are more than 12 road horses entered to show in final
    championship class, the class will be divided and shown
    earlier in the show. The top 12 point winners from the divided
    classes will be able to show back in the final championship
    class.
  • All Wagon and Under Saddle horses must shown in road bike
    in final championship class to be eligible prize money.

Points and Prize Money:

  • Each horse will receive 1 points for entering and showing in
    designated classes.
  • To receive points horse must complete class and judges
    card is turned in.
  • Results of points won and actual number in class will be
    tabulated from official horse show results.
  • All Road Horse classes held during the final Championship
    Show will be showing for double points.
  • Points will be accumulated from Jan 1st 2012 till the last day
    of the final championship class.
  • All monies collected from eligibility fees, horse show fees
    and sponsorships will be added back to prize amount.
  • 2012 prize amount will be $20,000 or more.
  • Prize money will be paid out to the top 8 point winners.
